Kópavogur Public Library
The Kópavogur Public Library consists of two branches. The main branch at Hamraborg 6a and the Lindasafn branch at Núpalind 7. The two branches share the same vision: to provide an attractive space where guests enjoy spending time, browsing the collection and attending various events.
The main branch is located near main bus stops at Hamraborg and we sell bus cards, 72 hours pass, 24 hours pass and Klapp ten tickets.
Museum of Design and Applied Art
The Museum of Design and Applied Art collects, preserves, researches and exhibits Icelandic design from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.
The museum consists of four spaces: The main exhibition space where the permanent exhibition, At Home in the Design Museum, is on until 2026, a space for designers in residence, a space dedicated to research in the design field, and finally, a beautiful museum shop featuring works from around 30 Icelandic Designers.

The Living Art Museum is an artist-run museum and exhibition space that aims to support, exhibit and preserve contemporary art, and to act as a platform for experimentation and international dialogue on art.
