Natural History Museum of Kópavogur
The Natural History Museum of Kópavogur is a part of the Kópavogur Cultural Houses. The 600 m2 exhibition area is at the ground floor of the Museum house, which the museum shares with the Kópavogur Public Library.

Kópavogur Public Library
The Kópavogur Public Library consists of two branches. The main branch at Hamraborg 6a and the Lindasafn branch at Núpalind 7. The two branches share the same vision: to provide an attractive space where guests enjoy spending time, browsing the collection and attending various events.
The main branch is located near main bus stops at Hamraborg and we sell bus cards, 72 hours pass, 24 hours pass and Klapp ten tickets.
Museum of Design and Applied Art
The Museum of Design and Applied Art collects, preserves, researches and exhibits Icelandic design from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.
The museum consists of four spaces: The main exhibition space where the permanent exhibition, At Home in the Design Museum, is on until 2026, a space for designers in residence, a space dedicated to research in the design field, and finally, a beautiful museum shop featuring works from around 30 Icelandic Designers.
The Punk Museum
The Icelandic Punk Museum salutes the Icelandic punk and new wave scene that started in Iceland in 1978. This music scene is the fertile soil all the now-famous Icelandic acts can be traced back to.

Vífilsstaðir, Garðabær
Former tuberculosis hospital with a great environment for walks and outdoor activities.
Vífilsstaðir (formerly Vífilsstaðaspítali) was a tuberculosis shelter and nursing home in Garðabær that formally began operations on September 5, 1910. Vífilsstaðir's activities revolved around services for tuberculosis patients until the shelter was converted into a hospital for patients with respiratory diseases under the auspices of LSH in 1973. In 1976 began work.
Salurinn concert hall
The Music Hall is the first specially designed concert hall in the country. It was opened on January 2, 1999. The Kópavogur Music Hall is part of the town's cultural center, which stands in Borgarholt next to Gerðarsafn and in the vicinity of Kópavogur Church, one of the town's main symbols.
Since the Music Hall opened, there have been an average of two concerts a week, numerous conferences of various kinds, seminars, awards ceremonies, international chess tournaments, piano competitions, birthday parties, confirmations, weddings and so on.
The Living Art Museum
The Living Art Museum is an artist-run museum and exhibition space that aims to support, exhibit and preserve contemporary art, and to act as a platform for experimentation and international dialogue on art.
