Arriving and Getting to Reykjavík

Keflavík Airport is located about 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. Once you land, there are several transportation options to get you into the city. Scheduled airport coaches and bus transfers run frequently and offer a comfortable ride into Reykjavík. You can also take a private taxi, book a private bus, rent a car, or use the Strætó public bus number 55, which offers an affordable connection between the airport and the city.

If you're continuing on to a domestic destination, scheduled coach transfers are available to Reykjavík City Airport, conveniently located just minutes from the city center.
