Kristín Sesselja's songs evoke images that most people can relate to: love stories and the heartbreak of a breakup, but at the same time she shows the emotional maturity she has acquired at a young age. Her lyrics are characterized by romance, female empowerment and personal experiences that many can relate to. Kristín was chosen as the newcomer of the year at the 2021 Listener Awards and has been on many radio stations' charts in Iceland. HáRún, also known as Helga Rún Guðmundsdóttir, is an indie-pop singer-songwriter who performs heartfelt songs in Icelandic. The acoustic guitar plays a significant role in her music, featuring captivating melodies, sincere and witty lyrics, and a powerful voice that draws listeners in. HáRún finds much of her inspiration in nature, Icelandic literature, and everyday life. She has been recording some of her songs and her debut single is coming out soon.
