"Frelsaðir" by Örn Ingólfsson, a light artist, will be projected onto Hallgrímskirkja. The artwork symbolizes light, hope, and emotions all at once. This marks the third time his work has been featured in Ljósaslóðin. His first piece, "Fangaðir," was projected onto the Hegningarhúsið prison on Skólavörðustígur, the second was projected from Gróðurhúsið at Lækjartorg, and this year, "Frelsaðir" will illuminate Hallgrímskirkja. Light art installations and related events will take place every evening throughout the festival from 18:30 to 22:30.
