Fun House a light installation by Abigail Portner - With Live music performance by Geologist, Ellicott Hooligan and Deaken When i was a kid i loved going to the state fair and going directly to the fun house. A small walk through space using lighting tipping floors, stripes, mirrors lighting and colors to make you feel like you were in a different world .. Based off of this concept I want to create an interactive installation over three nights that transports you to different places dependent on the audio and visuals . Abigail Portner is a visual artist and production designer based in Savannah GA . She creates large scale interactive installations, videos and sculptures. Most of her work involves playful stop motions, printed patterns and illustrations. Abby has spent a lot of her career on the road as a touring lighting and production designer for bands like John Cale and Animal Collective, Her personal work reflects this experience and is often very light driven.
