‘Fzzr’ is a series of bent aluminum tubes that mimic natural lava formations. Along the surface of the tubes are plasma-cut cracks allowing fissures of glowing light to emerge from within—mirroring the incandescent shimmer of magma erupting on a distant horizon.
Sean Patrik's work gives us a glimpse into the turbulent vascular system of the body and reminds us of the heart that pumps blood though our vanes so we can live. The work is done for GoRed awareness about women's heart diseases as a reminder to everyone to take care of your heart - we only have one!
Sean Patrick O'Brien is a US/Canadian artist based in Iceland. Their work is driven by the desire to explore and understand the world around us. His artistic investigation often delves into the realm of scientific experimentation, offering a perspective on art as a means of sharing naturally occurring phenomena.
