Hanging from a bridge, the fragment of time captures the vibrant childhood memories of the artist while also serving as a sanctuary for hidden folk and other spirits. From the perspective of her younger self, she observes the wonders of the forces of nature – wild winds, a symphony of colors – where captivating beauty and the overwhelming power coexist in a delicate dance, almost in defiance of one another. This artwork extends an invitation to a meditative ritual, where the audience may explore the prospect of re-discovering their childhood memories of the northern lights while, perhaps, simultaneously calling forth the supernatural spectacle into the current evening sky.
