On Culture Night between 4–6 PM (16:00–18:00), ReykjavíkurAkademían invites friends, neighbours, and curious visitors to explore its brand-new home in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, located at Hafnarstræti 5, 3rd floor. Enjoy music, fortune-telling, open conversations, and a whirlwind of short talks on a wide range of topics: ogre women, greenwashing, shadow-writing, neglected ancient psalms, the work of human hands, music, memory practices, Hallgerður Langbrók, Brazilian goddesses, and more! Get your fortune told with tarot cards inspired by Norse mythology, listen to rhubarb being played like an instrument, and join in reflections on how the public can take part in shaping future creative scholarship. Plus: a book market and light refreshments. Everyone welcome!
