The National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police will be holding an open house from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at its premises at Rauðarárstígur 25, 105 Reykjavík. Visitors and passersby will have the opportunity to learn about the agency's work and view some equipment, vehicles, and gear, as well as meet police officers and members of the special forces unit. The National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police was established on July 1, 1997, when the Police Act no. 90/1996 came into effect.
