The Reykjavík Air Rescue Team will host an open house from 12:00–15:00 at their facility at Flugvallarvegur 7. Visitors are welcome to learn about the rescue team's work and, among other things, explore the facilities, equipment, vehicles, and gear, as well as meet some of the team's search and rescue dogs. The Reykjavík Air Rescue Team was founded in 1950 following the Geysir accident, and today the team includes many specialized units. More information can be found at fbsr.is.
