Perlfriends Perlerfriends is a project created in the Frosti Youth Center, focusing on friendship, togetherness, and self-expression through art. Students who chose to partake in the project each designed and crafted a single perlerbead tile based on their own interpretation of friendship. Once completed, the tiles were pieced together to form a larger artwork, now on display at the youth center in Hagaskóli. The idea for the project emerged when students expressed how comforting it was to sit down and perlerbead together in Frosti. The process created a relaxed atmosphere where open and heartfelt conversations could naturally take place. Perlerfriends symbolizes the importance of friendship and the colorful connections that form when people come together.
