Re-mapping the Arctic is an exhibition by first year MA Design & New Environments Students at the Iceland University of the Arts. The students researched material, cultural, and ecological entanglements of the Arctic to propose creative design interventions. The works on show are provocative maps, speculative artefacts, extreme wearables and future crafts - all embodying new sustainable ways of inhabiting the Nordic Polar and Circumpolar Regions. The exhibition is curated by Thomas Pausz, Associate Professor at the Iceland University of the Arts.
