On Thursday, August 14th, Daniela Amado will play at Tónabíó. The concert starts at 8:00 PM. Free admission. ------ Daniela Amado is a Panamanian vocalist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist based in Reykjavík. Her work explores the intimate relationship between voice, body, and mind. She holds a B.Mus Berklee College of Music and M.Mus from Iceland University of the Arts. Daniela’s practice is rooted in contemporary vocal performance, improvisation, and socially engaged art. Daniela is the creator of Aquella, a project produced by multi-Grammy award winner Pablo Governatori, which explores Latin American feminine narratives through voice, storytelling, and soundscapes. Aquella has been presented in both Reykjavík and Panama, weaving traditional Latin elements with experimental textures. She has performed across Iceland and abroad in festivals and venues such as Dark Music Days, Nordic Music Days, Panama Jazz Festival, and Aurorafest.
