The golden plover sings dirrindí, the raven croaks, and the snipe dives from the sky. Crickets dance between the blades of grass. Bumblebees flutter between flowers. Come and join the animelodies, where birds, insects, whales og kids unite as one.   FREE ACCESS – no need to pre-register.  --  Born in Hafnarfjörður in Iceland, Sóley Stefánsdóttir has attracted a huge following with her fairytale song-craft since launching her solo career in 2010 with the release of her EP Theater Island. Sóley’s fantastical sepia-toned alt-pop tunes continued with the release of her debut full-length album We Sink in 2011. Since then she has released three more LP’s and other works, spanning musical genres from dream-like alt pop to experimental & progressive compositions for accordion and voice. Sóley’s critically acclaimed album, Mother Melancholia, was released in 2021. Sóley has worked on music and sound for theatre as well as films, radio programs, dance works and short films. She is also a music composition tutor at the Icelandic Academic of the Arts.
