Reykjavík Röst

Reykjavík Röst is a coffee house/bar by the Old Harbour in Reykjavík and was opened in the summer of 2017. We pride ourselves on our quality coffee and homemade grilled sandwiches on sourdough bread. We also have vegan options; the soup is always vegan as is one of our sandwiches. Did we mention the hot chocolate yet? Real chocolate melted with steamed milk + whipped cream and some cocoa & cinnamon powder. Yes, we are a bit proud of that one as well… Four different beers on tap, full bar, bar snacks and platters in the evening and an amazing harbour view. We look forward to seeing you.

Höfði House

The Höfði building has a very remarkable history. In the 104 years since it was taken into use, there have been consuls, ambassadors, poets, and artists among others, living there. Höfði is today the mayor's reception hall. Höfði house was taken into use in 1909 and has a remarkable history related to Icelanders' relations with other nations. The house was built at Félagstún for the French consul, Jean-Paul Brillouin. It was designed in Eastern Norway and exported to Iceland. The building shows influences from the Art Nouveau style, classic neo-baroque, and Norwegian national romanticism.

Café Babalú

Café Babalú offers you to try tasty cheese toasts, bread soup and lamb stew. Good apple crumble, chocolate delice and chocolate crepes are the best dishes. After a long working week, you can taste delicious beer or good wine. Get your meal started with great chai latte, americano or espresso.

Bravó

Bravó boasts the longest Happy Hour in the city. Aside from that all-important fact, the bar itself is rich in atmosphere; the cozy darkness, the gentle ambient lighting, the soft-patterned cushions lining the room, all create a venue that lends itself to a long session sipping the golden nectar.

Bravo is one of the most popular bars in Reykjavík, due largely to its easily accessible location on the Laugavegur shopping street. People tend to squeeze themselves in, making for an intimate and, at times, overcrowded night.
