Moogie & the Boogiemen and Dirt Talent Extrakt play at Tónabíó on the 20th of August at 20:00. Free entry but everyone is welcome to support the artists. ------ Moogie & the Boogiemen is a collaboration between sisters Elín Bryndís and Margrét Helga Snorradætra. They will perform songs from their upcoming album “Find me in the Disco” along with a beautiful entourage. The music is from all genres but mainly folk songs with a touch of the 60s and 70s. Performers: Vocals: Elín Bryndís Mandolin and Guitar: Margrét Helga Drums: Haukur Ingólfsson Bass: Dagur Bjarnason Keyboards: Jökull Jónsson Saxophone and Flute: Moritz Christiansen Cello: Soffía Jónsdóttir ------ Dirt Talent Extrakt plays raw yet diverse rock music with grunge and heavy metal influences. The songs are both heavy and experimental which fits perfectly with the lively and unpredictable stage performance of the band members.
