On the occasion of Culture Night, visitors will have the opportunity to step on board of the Coast Guard Vessel Óðinn on 23 August at 13:00-16:00. Members of the ship’s supporters' association will be on duty to welcome guests. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Due to safety regulations, the number of guests allowed on board at any one time is limited, and we kindly ask visitors to respect these restrictions. This time, access will be limited to the ship’s deck only. Those interested in exploring the interior are reminded of the daily guided tours at 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00 on other days from March through October. This event is part of the Reykjavík City Museum’s diverse program for Culture Night. Accessibility: The Coast Guard Vessel Óðinn has steep stairs, high thresholds, and narrow corridors. It is therefore not accessible for wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. People with claustrophobia are advised not to board the ship.
