We warmly welcome you to Listvinnzlan, where poetry and visual art by disabled artists come together in a shared creative space. A new and exciting group of poets will read from works created in a joint poetry workshop hosted by; Átak, a self advocacy group for people with intellectual disabilities, and Lestrarklefinn, a literary platform. Between readings guests will be introduced to some compelling visual art by the artists of Listvinnzlan as well as being shown around their new space Walk, or roll-in, you never know, the experience might just move you away from the mainstream. Accessibility:The venue can be accessed from both Austurstræti 5 and Hafnarstræti 4 on the third floor. Step-free access for wheelchair users is available via Hafnarstræti, where there is a spacious and reliable elevator. The elevator on the Austurstræti side is older and smaller. Sign language interpretation will be provided during the event, and a sensory-friendly room will be available at the venue.
