If you´re in the mood for some laughs, check out Let´s talk Iceland, which is a historical comedy show performed in English. You will meet Vikings from the past, heroes of the nation and everyday people and go on an unforgettable journey with them through the history of Iceland and discuss the strange people living there.

For some rare art and music, we recommend Mengi.  This is an operation created and managed by artists in Reykjavík, Iceland. They host diverse art events every Thursday, release music by some of the nation's most ambitious musicians, operate an art store and host various art exhibitions on a regular basis.

If you love independent films, you should definitely check out Bíó Paradís. Their movie schedule consists mostly of European, Icelandic and U.S. independent films with occasional retrospectives of classic films and educational film programs for children. They also hold numerous film festivals throughout the year.

If you´re feeling creative, then we recommend Creative Iceland. They offer a range of diverse Icelandic activities hosted by a variety of local people including, craftsmen, designers, writers, scientists, thespians, singers, poets, photographers, chefs, dancers and more. You will gain a fascinating insight into their way of life and  bring home a truly unique and memorable experience.

If you like to visit strange museums, then the Icelandic Phallological Museum is the place for you. The museum contains a collection of more than two hundred penises and penile parts belonging to almost all the land and sea mammals that can be found in Iceland.
