Three princesses unexpectedly meet and all realize that they are dealing with the same problem. They are waiting for their prince. They can't possibly live happily ever after unless he comes...or what?
Unexpected events take them on a journey that will change their lives forever and the princesses learn that any path is possible for them.
"Who Wants to Be a Princess?" is a new musical, by Raddbandið and Sara Martí, in the spirit of the Disney fairy tales that everyone knows and loves. The show is full of colorful and magical music by Stefán Örn Gunnlaugsson and Rakel Björk Björnsdóttir.
Members of Raddbandið are Auður Finnbogadóttir, Rakel Björk Björnsdóttir and Viktoría Sigurðardóttir. They play the roles of the princesses and Sara Martí directs, who has directed countless children's plays such as Karíus og Baktus in Harpa, Jólaævintýri Þorra og Þuru and most recently Umskiptingur at Þjóðleikhúsið.
"I highly recommend this show... Both children and adults have fun watching it... Every single song is colorful and beautifully sung, and the actors' comedic timing is really good" - Sjöfn Asare, Lestarklefinn.
"This is a colorful, beautiful and very entertaining show with really well-written songs that these fine singers sing with artistry." - Silja Aðalsteinsdóttir, TMM.
The show is 50 minutes long
