Welcome to an intimate concert with the renowned ensamble Umbra, 16:00 next Sunday at Laxness Museum. Umbra performs Icelandic folk songs in their own arrangements, along with original compositions featuring lyrics drawn in part from medieval literature. The focus will be on music from their album Bjargrúnir, as well as new material. Audiences can expect an intimate experience where Icelandic poetic tradition and storytelling are explored through music and spoken word.
