Concert starts at 20:30 Soffía is a singer and songwriter who has been prominent in the Icelandic music scene since she released her first self-titled album, Soffía Björg. The song I Lie was frequently played on Icelandic radio stations and received good reviews in international press. She subsequently received several nominations for the Listener Awards and the Icelandic Music Awards. Since then, Soffía has released the album The Company You Keep and a few songs in between. The song Bonafide, which she sang with Krummi for the television show Hljómskálann, topped the charts on Rás 2, and another song worth mentioning is a remake of a song that her grandmother, Soffía Karlsdóttir made famous about 70 years ago. She sang Það er draumur að vera með dáta, but Soffía Björg wrote new lyrics for the song and her version is called Draumur að fara í bæinn. The song was performed on Gísli Martein's show in early 2025. She recently released the song Redwing from her upcoming solo album. Soffía has a BA in composition from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and prior to that she studied singing at the Reykjavík Singing School and the Icelandic Academy of Music
