The annual Spring Exhibition will open on Thursday, May 8, at 3:00 p.m. in the school's new location at Rauðarárstígur 10 (near Hlemmur). The exhibition will showcase works by 108 students currently enrolled in the day school programs, along with projects from approximately 300 students in the spring children's, youth, and adult courses. First-year students in the visual arts program to matriculation examination will display projects completed in their mathematics courses, while second-year graduating students will present independent final projects. Students with prior vocational training or those who have already obtained a matriculation examination from another upper secondary school will exhibit their independent final projects after their one-year of study at the school. Two graduating students from the textile program will showcase their independent final projects, while other students from the ceramics, painting, drawing, and textile courses will present projects completed during their first year of study. Students, across all age groups—children, teenagers, and adults from the spring art courses, will present projects. Works will be selected for the exhibition by course teachers in consultation with the students. We look forward to showing our guests our new building.
