Their music and storytelling can fill your eyes with tears and make you want to dance like crazy at the same time. Their debut album Ungfrú Ísland came out to critical acclaim in 2022 and was awarded Album of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards, Kraumsverðlaunin – awarded annually for outstanding albums and was nominated as album of the year at the Icelandic Listeners Choice Awards. Formed in 2019 by punk singer Brynhildur Karlsdóttir and classical composer Friðrik Margrétar Guðmundsson the band set out to conquer the world with their distorted visions of pop music, oblique songwriting techniques and energetic live performances.
