The band Frýs will take the stage at RVK Brewing Co./Tónabíó on Thursday, September 25th at 8:00 PM It will be rock and roll and fun at Tónabíó when Frýs takes the stage and plays all of their best songs. Frýs attracted deserved attention at the 2024 Battle of Bands for their outstanding instrumental skills and dense music. Critics compared the band to bands like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jet Black Joe and Led Zeppelin and found the songwriting and arrangements ambitious and complex. It so happened that on the final night of the Battle of the Bands, Frýs took the title of People's Band after a public telephone vote. The band Frýs consists of Sólveig Torfadóttir, lead vocals, Haukur Lár Hauksson on guitar, Björn Máni Björnsson, keyboards, Brynjar Karl Birgisson on bass and Rafael Róbert Símonarson on drums. Frýs' music is influenced by classic and psychedelic rock.
