Welcome to this unique event where children (and others who are young at heart) will get to meet Tufti, a three-meter tall and a friendly troll, who will delight everyone with his presence and lively interactions. This is a great opportunity for children to meet a real troll face to face and experience the magic of the stories come to life. At the same time, beloved illustrator, Brian Pilkington, will draw various trolls and fairy creatures according to the wishes of the guests, capturing the magic from the minds of those present on to paper and demonstrate the process of drawing fantastical creatures. Brian is known and recognized by the nation for his characteristic and friendly children's book illustrations of trolls, elves and the Icelandic yule lads. The event is not only fun - it is also educational! Through Tufti‘s and Brian‘s lively interactions with the children, they will learn about storytelling, illustration and the magic of literature, which encourages a love of reading and ignites their imagination. This offers visitors an essential opportunity to experience art from the very beginning and see what the creative process is really like. Everyone is welcome.
