The early-music ensemble Lorelei Collective plays a few songs around Alliance Française. The ensemble was formed in The Hague, Netherlands in 2023 by international musicians with diverse musical backgrounds. Our program focuses on Icelandic folk songs and European dance tunes from the 16th and 17th century on historical instruments: recorders, shawms, sackbut and a traditional drone zither. After the performance, there is an opportunity to learn more about these old instruments for those who are curious. The event is free of charge and organized by Sumarborgin 2024.
