Welcome to the opening of the exhibition “Best Book Design from all over the World” The exhibition consists of the 14 books that received recognition and awards in the 2024 competition Best Book Design from all over the World, which has been held since 1963 with the aim of encouraging greater international dialogue about book design. Visitors are welcome to browse through the books. In 2024, the book Walking as Research Practice was awarded the so-called GOLDEN LETTER, the highest recognition. The work had previously been recognized in the Dutch and Swiss book design competitions. The book’s designer is Jana Sofie Liebe, the author is Lynn Gommes, and it is published by Soapbox. Jana Sofie Liebe will be present at the opening and will host a 3.5-hour workshop on Friday, January 24th (tickets available on tix.is) and a lecture on Sunday, January 26th at 1:00 PM. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with FÍT and Stiftung Buchkunst.
