Welcome to the opening of the exhibition Sortatíra by Ósk Gunnlaugsdóttir on February 6 at 17:00 in the Sculpture Garden at Nýlendugatu 17a. From the centre of darkness hidden creatures of the soul float to greet us. Some reached the solidity of the material world here in the Garden whereas others dissolved on the beach of waking. Ósk braids light and darkness together as well as clay, colour and glass in 2, 3 < dimensions and invites us to gaze into the landscape of the unconscious. Waves from another dimension reveal what used to be veiled and we experience both the darkness and the city at the border of consciousness. Dip in.
