Our permanent exhibition, Making of a Nation, will be open to all on Museum Night from 6 PM to 11 PM. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey from the Settlement Age to modern times. The exhibition is beautifully designed, accessible, and appeals to both children and adults alike. During Museum Night, the National Museum will offer a diverse program, including guided tours and the renowned event Evening by the Baðstofa with Kvæðamannafélagið Iðunn, folk poetry society.
