Artist Elsa Jónsdóttir and Curator Zsóka Leposa in conversation about the exhibition Lend an Ear in D-gallery. The event will be in english. In her work, Elsa researches the transformation of forms into abstract levels of understanding, a kind of morphology of language. She develops symbols that she transposes, teasing out a new meaning for her subjects. This may happen though the letters of writing being turned into a general visual language. In this exhibition, however, sounds and the act of listening are turned into an installation that affects our sensory organs. After the talk Kvæðakórinn will perform a few songs.
