Evening Walks: Downtown Monuments

Markús Þór Andrésson leads an evening walk through interesting monuments in downtown Reykjavík. The walk starts at Hafnarhús, Tryggvagata 17 with participants taking a leisurely walk between the monuments of the city center. Free admission. Evening Walks are a series of events organized by the Reykjavík City Library, the Reykjavík City History Museum, the Reykjavík Art Museum and the Reykjavík City of Literature UNESCO. The walks are free and take place on Thursday evenings from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM during the summer months. Please note that the walks start at different locations. You can follow the program on the museums' websites and on the Evening Walks Facebook page. Participation is free, but you must pay for the ferry when the walks are in Viðey.
