Sónó is a vegan restaurant and catering service that dances to the seasons with spices and herbs from the local area mixed with the seductive spices of the Middle East.
The embodiment of the food is most similar to "meze" which originates in the Middle East.
Each dish contains herbs from the local area to some extent, whether they are fresh on the plate, in the sauce, or dried herbs in layers. Depending on the season. Thus the tricks change with the cycle of the sun. There is nothing new about the trip here, quite the opposite. This is an ancient skill of our ancestors who used herbs for healing and nourishment.
Sono Caterers respect nature, the environment, animals, and humans and make all food with a purpose. As a result, the vast majority of everything is made from scratch from the best raw materials available at any given time in line with the seasons. Many of the spices we import ourselves from Morocco. The herbs that can be found in most of our dishes in one way or another we pick ourselves in the wild nature of the Westfjords and the rest we grow ourselves on our land in Kjós.
