Hjá Jóni

Hjá Jóni is a restaurant and bar located within the Iceland Parliament Hotel by Austurvöllur in central Reykjavík. The space brings together a dining room and Telebar, a lobby bar that functions as an extension of the restaurant, where food, drinks, and setting are closely linked. 

The restaurant serves a menu shaped by international influences and seasonal ingredients, while Telebar focuses on cocktails, wine, and a lighter bar menu served throughout the day. Set in an open lobby space, the bar is surrounded by contemporary Icelandic artwork and operates as a social meeting point within the hotel. 

Telebar runs daily service with regular features such as happy hour, cocktail hour, and weekly live jazz sessions, adding a cultural layer to the space. Together, the restaurant and bar form a combined dining and lounge setting in the city centre, connecting food, drinks, and atmosphere in a single space.
