Hamraborg Festival
Hamraborg Festival is a multidisciplinary artist-run art festival focusing on visual arts, site-specific works, performance art and social engagements.
Hamraborg Festival is an annual festival held since 2021 in Hamraborg, Kópavogur.
The festival grew out of Midpunkt: the artist-run exhibition space operating since 2018 in Hamraborg.
The festival is sponsored by the Art and Culture Council of Kópavogur.
This year, the festival will take place from August 28 to September 4, 2024.
Most events will take place from August 30 to September 1. All exhibitions will be open for 7 days (August 28 - September 4). A program with various events, performances, concerts and workshops awaits us. All festival exhibitions and events take place in culture houses, public areas, cafes, shops and offices in Hamraborg, the heart of Kópavogur.
