This drawing course is for anyone who is curious about their surroundings. The course takes place both indoors and outdoors. Students will draw logs and rocks and various birds indoors before heading out with drawing cards, paper and drawing tools to capture nature either here at Hlemmur or outside in Laugarnes. The lessons are individualized and the course is no less for beginners than for advanced students. The course will take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings from August 9 to 17, for a total of four sessions. Completion of the course is based on 80% attendance. The lessons are given in Icelandic. The course teacher is Halldór Baldursson, head teacher of the drawing program at the Reykjavík School of Visual Arts.
