The Reykjavík International Literary Festival holds a status as one of the most important literary festival in Northern Europe. It is famous for its unique atmosphere and since its beginning, more than 300 international authors have taken part and been inspired.

Both Icelandic and international authors take part and give readers insights into their lives and work in interviews, readings and discussion. All events are in English and, even if authors read in their own language, all translations are available in English.

Authors and program will be announced on the website and facebook. Admission is free of charge.
