Did you know that you can build a computer from electric circuits in Minecraft? In Minecraft you can use electricity to create anything you can think of. To build electrical circuits you need to use redstone, which is found deep in caves. For example, you can create an automated greenhouse that grows grain and bakes bread, a roller coaster or even a music box that plays songs! In the workshop taught by Skema, students get to know electricity in Minecraft. Students learn to automate their Minecraft worlds by using logic and creativity. This workshop is for children aged 8-12 and registration is required. Registration begins October 1st here: (linkur á heimasíðu) https://borgarbokasafn.is/en/event/children/fall-break-electric-circuits-minecraft Take a look at our events during the fall break! https://borgarbokasafn.is/haustfri-2025 Further information: Agnes Jónsdóttir, specialist agnes.jonsdottir@reykjavik.is | 411 6250
