Bláfjöll

Iceland’s number one skiing area, Bláfjöll Ski Resort, is just a half-hour drive away from Reykjavík.

Bláfjöll ski resort is very popular with tourists as well as Icelanders and is especially known for its spectacular views and varied landscapes. It´s open when snow and weather permit. There is a ski rental and a skiing school that offers instruction on weekends. When the ski resort is open, there are public buses that go directly to the resort.
