Ásvallalaug is a 50‑metre swimming pool, which is usually divided by a movable bridge so that one half measures 25 metres and the other 50 metres. Families are well catered for, with a 17‑metre children’s pool (0.9–1.1 m deep) and a separate shallow pool for younger children, complete with toys.
