Reykjavík Family Park and Zoo, located in Laugardalur, is a year-round recreational area combining a small zoo with open green spaces, play areas, and seasonal attractions. It is open daily throughout the year, with winter hours from 10:00 to 17:00 and summer hours from 10:00 to 18:00.
Alongside Icelandic farm animals, the park is home to arctic foxes, reindeer, and seals, as well as a limited number of exotic animals.
A seasonal funfair operates daily during the summer months, while parts of the playground remain accessible year-round. Food and beverage services are run by Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur during the main season, and visitors also have access to free electric grills, with the option to bring their own food.
