Garðabær Library is an information and creativity center where everyone is welcome to come and learn, share, meet, stay and enjoy good times. A wide range of collections and regular events are available for all ages. Regular events include storytelling and singing lessons for children, reading circles, a handicraft club, book readings, and parent chat. Garðabær Library is constantly developing its activities in line with the times and strives to follow the needs of its visitors. Garðabær Library also has a branch at Eyvindarstaðavegur in Álftanes. Álftanes is open Mondays to Thursdays between 14 and 18 and Fridays from 14 to 17.
