Kópavogsdalur is a valley situated in the town of Kópavogur. It lies between residential areas and serves as a local green space, used primarily for walking, cycling, and informal recreation. A small stream runs through the valley, and the area includes paths, grassy fields, and some playgrounds. At the western end of the valley, there is a duck pond with diverse birdlife that is popular for birdwatching.
