Flybus Airport Transfer

Flybus operates in conjunction with all arriving flights at Keflavik Airport, providing direct transportation to Reykjavik City Centre.

Flybus is an airport transfer service connecting Keflavík International Airport with Reykjavík, operating year-round in line with all arriving and departing flights. Since 1979, it has provided a direct link between the airport and the city, with departures scheduled to match flight times throughout the day and night.

The journey to Reykjavík takes around 45 minutes, with coaches running directly to the BSÍ Bus Terminal in the city centre. From there, passengers can continue on foot or transfer to smaller shuttle buses that serve hotels, guesthouses, and designated stops across the city.

Tickets are flexible and valid for the next available departure, regardless of delays, and can be purchased in advance or on arrival at the airport. Onboard, buses are equipped with Wi-Fi, charging points, and space for luggage, with each passenger allowed two checked bags and a carry-on.

Operating as a central part of Reykjavík’s transport network for visitors, Flybus offers a straightforward connection between airport and city, with options for direct terminal service or extended drop-off closer to accommodation.
