Faxaflóahafnir, the Associated Icelandic Ports, are responsible for harbour activities in Gamla höfnin í Reykjavík (the Old Reykjavík Harbour), Sundahöfn, Grundartangi and in Akranes, as well as facilities for smaller boats in Borgarnes. 

Faxaflóahafnir bases its operations on a 100-year history of port management and it is a key player in the development, improvement and operation of important infrastructure in the transport network and the economy of Iceland.
