EC Iceland offers electric bike tours through some of Reykjavík’s quieter natural areas, the type of places that are easy to overlook without local insight.
Tours begin and end at Nauthólsvík, a small seaside spot, and follow a mix of bike paths and scenic valley trails through Fossvogsdalur and Elliðaárdalur. This green area features rivers, small waterfalls, and a variety of birdlife, all explored at a relaxed pace with knowledgeable local guides.
All tours are guided in English and include an electric bike and helmet. Participants should be at least 10 years old and 160 cm tall. Dressing in layers is recommended, as Reykjavík’s weather can change quickly. Tours operate in light rain, too, which often adds to the overall experience that you'll be able to capture thanks to frequent photo stops.
