Árbæjarlaug offers a wide range of facilities, including a 25‑metre outdoor pool, hot tubs, water slides, children’s slides and pools, a massage pool, cold pool, indoor pool and wading pool. The complex also features beach volleyball courts, outdoor and private changing facilities, and excellent accessibility for disabled guests, including access to the pool itself.

At the service desk you’ll find refreshments and swimwear for sale, as well as free Wi‑Fi. For those who like to combine exercise with relaxation, the surrounding neighbourhood offers plenty of running routes, making it easy to enjoy a soak in the warm pools afterwards.

Árbæjarlaug has received Reykjavík City’s Rainbow Certification, which aims to make the city more LGBT+ inclusive for both employees and residents. The programme works to prevent both direct and indirect discrimination against LGBT+ people and to promote a welcoming, respectful environment for all.
