The Reykjavik City Library is a community- and culture house in eight different locations in Reykjavík. The library focuses on great service and access for all, with a wide range of books, facilities, creative technology, events and exhibitions. Each library location is unique and reflects the local community.
Reykjavík Sundhöll has two pools, an indoor and an outdoor pool. There is good access for people in wheelchairs to get into the pool. There is also wheelchair access to the hot tub and sauna.
At Sundhöllin you'll find hot tubs, a diving board, a wading pool, a cold tub and a sauna. There are also outdoor cabins.
Play equipment
There are two diving boards in the indoor pool, the lower one is 1.0 m from the water's surface and the higher one is 2.75 m from the water's surface. Indoor pool: 25m x 10m, 4 lanes, 9m – 4m deep. The temperature is 28°C
In November 1977, a group of people, mainly women, founded The Handknitting Association of Iceland.
Their aim was to increase their income by knitting and selling sweaters and other garments from the unique wool characteristic of the Icelandic sheep.
All our handmade products are knitted in Iceland by members of The Handknitting Association of Iceland.

The restaurant Þrir Frakkar, was opened on March 1. 1989 and has been run by the chef Úlfar Eysteinsson and his family since then.
The restaurant is conveniently located in the downtown area and is within walking distance of the major shops and services in the city center.
The chef Stefán Úlfarsson, have continuously placed emphasis on fish courses and the restaurant has become well known for its delicious fish fare. Other specialities on the menu include whale meat and sea bird entrees.
A good restaurant is the place that gets its customers back for a visit. To ensure this, you need to have ambition in your cooking and choose high-quality ingredients. Although our menu seems simple, each dish is ambitious and uses only high quality ingredients.
