Since 1990, Fjörukráin Restaurant has welcomed guests from all over the world, offering authentic Icelandic food, live music and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is welcome - whether it is for a quiet dinner or a fun night out. The emphasis is on the Viking Era and as you enter you step into the world of the past. The décor is in the Viking style and Fjörukráin offers a true Viking feast with traditional meals served in old-fashioned Viking-style trays. During these famous feasts there is never a dull moment and the guests can expect various treats and surprises offered by singing Valkyries and Vikings.

Hotel Viking offers warm accommodation in a historic setting where each room has its own character. It is close to all the best that Hafnarfjörður has to offer - the waterfront, the art scene, and the surrounding nature.

Exciting things are happening at Hotel Viking, as 60 stunning new rooms are being added set to open in May 2026. This expansion will bring the hotel to 96 rooms, along with a beautiful new breakfast room that seats 200 guests.
